Salmonella is a genus of rod-shaped (bacillus) gram-negative bacteria of the family Enterobacteriaceae that affects the intestinal tract. Salmonella bacteria typically live in animal and human intestines and are shed through stool (feces). Humans become infected most frequently through contaminated water or food, such as eating raw or under cooked meat, poultry, and eggs or egg products or by drinking unpasteurized milk.
This kit can be used for qualitative detection of Salmonella (SM) in feces and anal swabs of suspected infection or other individuals who require diagnosis or differential diagnosis of Salmonella infection. And meanwhile, it can also be used for qualitative detection of Salmonella in suspected infection or other environmental samples (such as water samples) and food (meat products, fruits.etc.) that need to be diagnosed or identified by Salmonella infection. The kit for research use only, cannot be used alone as the sole criteria for diagnosing or excluding cases.
The Salmonella Lyophilized Nucleic Acid Detection Kit (Fluorescence PCR) is widely used in food safety testing, clinical diagnostics, and environmental monitoring. It enables rapid and accurate detection of Salmonella contamination in various samples, including food products, clinical specimens, and environmental samples, contributing to public health and safety.
