The Loop-mediated isothermal amplification (LAMP) is a rapid nucleic acid amplification technique. This reagent kit is based on the LAMP principle, using Bst DNA Polymerase and 2-3 pairs of specific primers to generate the target segment through isothermal amplification. During LAMP isothermal amplification, a large number of hydrogen ions are generated, causing the reaction system to change from initially alkaline to acidic. The decrease in pH resulting from successful amplification can be monitored through a color change of a pH-sensitive indicator. This reagent kit contains a pH indicator. It appears purple-red before the reaction, turns orange-yellow in a positive reaction, and remains purple-red in a negative reaction.

Product Description

LAMP （ Loop-mediated isothermal amplification ） reaction is a rapid nucleic acid amplification technique. Based on LAMP principle, the kit uses Bst DNA polymerase and 2-3 pairs of specific primers to generate target fragments. A Large number of hydrogen ions are generated during LAMP, result in reaction system change from basic to acidic. The pH decrease caused by successful amplification can be monitored by the color change of the pH-sensitive indicator. The pH-sensitive indicator will change to orange-yellow in positive reaction, while remain violet in negative reaction.

Application Cases

The experiment used lambda DNA (λDNA) templates at concentrations of 100 pg/μL, 10 pg/μL, and 1 pg/μL for LAMP reactions. The results before and after the reactions are displayed in the following chart:

Results:

The results indicate that BioEasy's BioEasy LAMP reagent kit (visual dye method) shows a significant color change before and after amplification in positive samples, making result interpretation easier.

Storage Conditions

1. The kit should be transported under frozen conditions.

2. Kit storage: Store in a -20°C refrigerator away from light, and the repeated freezing and thawing should not exceed 7 times.

3. Validity period: 12 months, please use within the validity period.
