CSFV/PRRSV/PCVII/PRV(gE) Nucleic Acid Detection Kit (Fluorescence PCR)
Details
Product Description
Classical Swine Fever Virus (CSFV), Porcine Reproductive and Respiratory Syndrome Virus (PRRSV), Porcine Circovirus Type 2 (PCV2), and Pseudorabies Virus gE gene (PRV-gE) are important pathogens affecting swine health and productivity. These infections may cause fever, respiratory symptoms, reproductive disorders, wasting, immunosuppression, and high mortality, especially in piglets. Co-infection is common in pig farms and can make clinical diagnosis more difficult. Therefore, rapid and accurate detection is essential for disease surveillance, early diagnosis, and effective control. The CSFV/PRRSV/PCV2/PRV(gE) Nucleic Acid Detection Kit (Fluorescence PCR) is designed to detect and differentiate these four major swine pathogens in a single assay, supporting efficient disease monitoring and prevention.
Product Features
- Applicable Samples: Tissues, blood, and more.
- High Specificity: No cross-reactivity with swine parvovirus, swine transmissible gastroenteritis virus, swine Mycoplasma pneumoniae, swine epidemic diarrhea virus, and other pathogens.
- High Accuracy: Can effectively detect and differentiate Classical Swine Fever Virus, Porcine Reproductive and Respiratory Syndrome Virus, Porcine Circovirus Type 2, and Pseudorabies Virus (gE gene).
- Ease of Operation: PCR amplification and product analysis are conducted in a fully sealed state to prevent aerosol contamination.
Application Cases
Case 1: Using the Kit , samples containing Classic Swine Fever Virus, Porcine Reproductive and Respiratory Syndrome Virus, Porcine Circovirus Type 2, wild strains of Pseudorabies Virus, vaccine strains of Pseudorabies Virus, swine parvovirus, swine transmissible gastroenteritis virus, swine epidemic diarrhea virus, and swine Mycoplasma pneumoniae were tested. The results showed that only samples containing Classic Swine Fever Virus, Porcine Reproductive and Respiratory Syndrome Virus, Porcine Circovirus Type 2, and wild strains of Pseudorabies Virus tested positive, while samples containing other viruses tested negative, indicating that the detection kit has good specificity. The summarized results are as follows:

Case 2: Various positive samples containing different concentrations of Classical Swine Fever Virus, Porcine Reproductive and Respiratory Syndrome Virus, Porcine Circovirus Type 2, and Pseudorabies Virus were mixed. After extraction using the Bioer MagaBio Plus Virus DNA /RNA Purification Kit III, this detection kit was employed for testing. A standard curve was generated, and it was observed that the correlation coefficients for Ct values of each item exceeded 0.995. This indicates that the detection kit has good linearity and high PCR efficiency. The results are shown in the table below:

Storage Conditions
1. The kit need to be transported under freezing conditions.
2. The kit should be stored at -25℃~-15℃ away from light, and avoid repeated freeze-thaw more than 5 times.
3. The kit can be stored for up to 12 months if all components are kept in the manner above. (Please use the kit in the period of validity).
