Foot-and-Mouth Disease Virus Southern African Territories 1 Nucleic Acid Detection Kit (Fluorescent PCR)
Details
Product Description
Foot-and-Mouth Disease Virus Type South Africa 1 (SAT1) is a highly contagious viral pathogen affecting cloven-hoofed animals such as cattle, sheep, and pigs. It spreads rapidly through direct contact, indirect contact, and aerosols, causing severe economic losses in livestock industries. SAT1 infection leads to fever, oral and hoof vesicles, salivation, and lameness, and may result in serious complications and high mortality in young animals. Due to its strong infectivity and lack of cross-protection with common FMDV serotypes, rapid and accurate detection is essential for effective disease control.
Product Features

- High specificity: No cross-reactivity with FMDV O, A, Asia 1, SAT 2, SAT 3 or other major animal viruses.
- Internal control: Non-competitive internal control monitors extraction and PCR process to ensure result reliability.
