Details

Product Description

Measles virus and rubella virus are respiratory-transmitted pathogens that can cause significant public health concerns. Measles may lead to severe complications, including pneumonia, while rubella infection during pregnancy can result in miscarriage, stillbirth, or congenital rubella syndrome.

The Measles Virus/Rubella Virus Nucleic Acid Detection Kit (Fluorescent PCR) is designed for the qualitative detection of measles virus and rubella virus nucleic acids in human throat swabs, nasopharyngeal swabs, serum, plasma, urine, and other applicable specimens. The kit provides a molecular diagnostic approach to support the detection of these viral infections and public health surveillance.

Product Features

- Dual-Target Detection – Qualitative detection of both measles virus and rubella virus nucleic acids.

- Multiple Specimen Types – Compatible with throat swabs, nasopharyngeal swabs, serum, plasma, and urine.

- Internal Control System – β-globin internal control monitors sample collection, transportation, nucleic acid extraction, and detection to help reduce false-negative results.

- High Analytical Specificity – Limit of detection (LoD) of 500 copies/mL, with no cross-reactivity observed with tested pathogens, including CMV, HSV, RSV, and EBV.

Storage Conditions

The kit should be stored at -25℃ ~ -15℃ away from light.

2. The kit can be transported in foam box sealed with ice bags or dry ice not exceeding 8℃ for no more than 7 days.

3. The kit can be stored for up to 18 months from the date of manufacture, if all components are kept in the manner above. Do not use after the stated expiration date. The components unprepared to the reagents can be repeated freezing and thawing, and should not exceed 5 times.

4. The kit can be stored for up to 7 days at 2-8 ℃ after open.
